General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
Effective from: May 29, 2019, amended: September 1, 2025.

The scope of the General Terms and Conditions applies to the services of Kristály Hotel Kft., where the Service Provider is Kristály Hotel Kft., place of service: 8400 Ajka, Korányi F. u. 20, Kristály Hotel, and the Guest is any natural or legal person using the hotel’s services.

2) METHOD AND CONDITIONS OF USING THE SERVICE
a) Ordering the service:
All reservations must be submitted to the hotel in writing. Contact details are available at www.kristalyhotelajka.hu.

Verbal reservations, agreements, modifications, or verbal confirmations by the Service Provider do not constitute a contract.

The accommodation service contract is concluded for a definite period.

The order must include the Guest’s name, address, exact dates of arrival and departure, room type, and a precise description of requested services. The Service Provider confirms all orders in writing.

Hotel rooms may only be booked with services included in the standard hotel package:

Standard hotel package includes:
• accommodation in the selected room type
• buffet breakfast, or plated breakfast with hot and cold dishes if guest count is under 10
• unlimited use of the wellness area: Finnish sauna, Stollen sauna, infrared sauna, steam cabin, plunge pool
• bathrobe provided at reception
• free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel

b) Validity of offers:
Offers are subject to limited room availability and do not constitute an option reservation. The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices.

c) Cancellation of services:
Guests must notify the hotel in writing of any cancellation, modification, or change before the service start date.

For individual bookings, cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before arrival, unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.

If the Guest does not arrive or fails to cancel in time, the Service Provider is entitled to a penalty of 50% of the service fee. Group bookings follow individually agreed cancellation terms.

3) ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rooms are available from 2:00 PM on arrival day and must be vacated by 10:00 AM on departure day. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and surcharge.

If the Guest leaves before the end of the stay, the Service Provider may claim the full contract value. Vacated rooms may be resold.

Guests must verify their identity before check-in according to legal requirements. No one may stay without registration.

The Service Provider may terminate the contract immediately and refuse service if the Guest misuses facilities, behaves inappropriately, fails to vacate the room, is under the influence of alcohol/drugs, has an infectious disease, or fails to pay a required deposit.

4) PAYMENT TERMS
Services may be paid by bank transfer, cash, bank card, or SZÉP card according to regulations.

The hotel may request a payment guarantee before service use or upon arrival. Identification may be required for SZÉP card use.

5) PRICES
Prices include VAT and service charges valid at time of publication. Prices are displayed in compliance with regulations. The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices.

6) ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Meals, programs, and pets are available under conditions defined by the hotel. Pets are accepted for a surcharge; guests are liable for any damage caused.

7) COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be submitted in writing at reception before departure. The hotel investigates within 3 days and responds in writing within 30 days.

8) GUEST OBLIGATIONS
Guests must pay charges, use equipment properly, follow smoking regulations, and are liable for damages caused. Electrical devices requiring steam/smoke must be approved. Fire safety rules must be observed.

9) LIABILITY
Damage must be reported immediately. The hotel provides in-room safes but is not liable for items left outside. Found items are kept 30 days. Parking is at own risk. Wellness facilities are used at own risk.

10) CONFIDENTIALITY
The Service Provider protects personal data in compliance with legal requirements.

The Guest declares having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
